I've also changed the system font and the Boot Animation from the X.Gbread theme to the Nexus S boot Animation optimized for the X10i, also JIT v2 X10 Optimized enabled via xRecovery.

Only other change from my previous post is the Minimal Text Widget displaying the textual date and weekday on my main homescreen

I know there isn't all that much change from my last post but I'm pretty happy with my current set up, just making a few tweaks here and there.

Also I've been using a fantastic tool developed by a dev on XDA MrRusch for pushing, pulling, decompiling and recompiling APK/JAR - X10ModTool

Jay i love your homescreens, on your first homescreen you have made everything transparent for the power options, how did you do this mate?

Thanks mate!

The power control widgets are Extended Controls, available on the AM but it is a paid app.

Okay, more small changes and some Launcher Pro Plus UI examples upon request.

My main homescreen (screen 2) with LPP Docks at the bottom.

Image

I'm using 3 scrolling loop docks with LPP.

Image Image

LPP has a dock notification count for SMS, Gmail and Missed calls.

Image

LPP also has a dock swipe action pop up for missed calls, sms, recently used applications and bookmarks.

Hope that sheds some light on Launcher Pro Plus.

On your screen you have the clock time and then the line going through it then the circle battery widget, whats the name of the clock widget and did you achieve this by overlapping them??

The clock is SiMi Clock and the battery widget is Circle Battery Widget.
And yes using Launcher Pro Plus I simply added a SiMi clock 3x1(without background) and overlaped the Circle battery widget, the Minimalist Text date is also overlapping with SiNo clock.

Hope that helps.

That I know of you can only do it with Launcher Pro Plus (paid), simply long press the widget and then release, now put your finger on the bottom right corner and drag down and right.
You can only resize down and right so place your widget where you want it at the top and left side.

@JayJ

Hey dude, just wondering, you know the gingerbread theme from xda, the official .024 rom version, will that work on Z's pre rooted ROM? also you know that line from SiMi Clock widget how have you managed to extend that all the way down?

Oh and before installing the theme via xrecovery how can i back up the current system settings? I have started to use launcher pro plus and I am loving it lol but just want to customise more. the themes you have previously used are they for launcher pro? or are they to overwrite the system ui?

sorry for all the questions lol just curious and excited lol

Hi Ram,

Okay, first no the X.Gbread theme for SE 2.1 ROM build 2.0.2.A.0.24 will NOT work with FreeX10 2.2 ROM. If you want a theme for Zdzihu's Froyo then there is an X.Gbread theme here and another different theme here. Both these themes are made by Sempiternal from XDA but there is one small issue with all the themes for FreeX10 beta2, nobody can find how to change the clock text colour in the statusbar so they've temporarily change the color of that side of the statusbar until it's resolved. These themes change the UI of the ROM or the framework-res.apk.
Now with xRecovery you can do nandroid Back ups, this back up will save everything and I mean everything on your phone, cache, data, system, wallpaper, settings, apps, sms, contacts etc. To do this boot the phone into xRecovery and choose Back up & Restore, then Back up and confirm. It will take a little while but worth it so if you install anything that messes your phone up you can simply restore a back up.
I would recommend doing a back up before any modding of the phone including themes.
As for Launcher Pro it does not support themes just icon skinning, to change an icon long press an icon in the dock and choose change icon and then custom icon, this will open up your 3D Gallery were hopefully you've some icons saved on your sd card to use.
If you don't have any icons check out this thread.
Finally to get the long line in SiMi clock follow the steps I posted above to resize a widget.

Hope that helps!

Sorry, yes mate it works fine just make sure it's v0.5 or v0.6 for 2.0.2.A.0.24 build number.
When you mentioned Z I though you were talking FreeX10, probably got FreeX10 on the brain as I first reinstalled beta2 and all my apps with fresh installs from the AM to go on XDA and find beta3 released so I've just spent a 12hr night shift installing and reinstalling FreeX10! :-(

But :-) it's much more stable than to beta2 so I'm not complaining!
